What We Mean by 100% Double Virgin Vinyl PVC

Only the purest lead-free virgin vinyl available is used to manufacture our Premium Heavy Duty Deluxe Grade Double Virgin Vinyl Series, unlike some competitors who use recyclable materials and/or plastics. Why risk purchasing competitor products that will eventually fade, crack and become brittle? Liberty Fence & Railing’s base ingredient is rigid PVC resin specially formulated to provide superior impact strength, exceptional durability, greater weatherability, and protective ultraviolet resistance.

The extrusion process begins with Liberty Fence & Railing’s product engineering team. With careful design and analysis, they render the PVC using advanced 3D CAD software to produce the designs we fabricate. We use computer-controlled conical twin-screw co-extrusion systems with specialized dies to shape, mold, and push out the heavyweight material. This machine is equipped for high-speed and high-output conditions. Co-extrusion means there are two layers of PVC – inner substrate and thick exterior capstock (double virgin vinyl).

Liberty Fence & Railing’s production crew then utilizes CNC (computer numerically controlled) machinery to create routed posts and rails, and a computer-controlled press brake to make galvanized steel stiffeners, which provides added top and bottom rail support and stability. The components are pre-assembled into sections prior to installation, ensuring the highest quality.
